Who knows? Maybe they want to show that the contestants are not
dumb blondes after all? 
I get reminded of the Miss Singapore Universe fiasco a few years
ago......
A contestant was asked to describe some of the local food in
Singapore. She flubbed the question, and then later KPKB about it
in the local rags, claiming that she was a vegetarian and thus was
ignorant of local food....
It's like WTF.... I don't eat pork, and even I know about bak
kut teh and char siew rice.
didn't she mention japanese food when asked that question? anyway,
it was probably a brain fart. happens to all of us.
